Poof! It’s Magic: Dropping your story of “This isn’t it.”
Hello, Friends! Life is so amazing! Four years ago when I was still in the midst of searching for well being, I never could have imagined where I am currently at in this moment of my life. In 1995, I was hired as a receptionist at Société Générale (a French Investment Bank). Two years later, I was promoted to Administrative Assistant (Secretary), and I stayed in this position for the next 8 years of my life. So four years ago, while still a Secretary at the bank, I was a walking complaint. I am also a singer/songwriter, and I was constantly lost in the thought that “This isn’t it! I’m supposed to be a rock star performing at Madison Square Garden! What am I doing here?”
I was a victim of my life… that is until I went to my first Monday Night Alive! workshop in New York City. When I found Ariel & Shya and Instantaneous Transformation, I knew the search was over – that I had found the access way to enlightenment. What I didn’t know at that time, was the magic that came along with being in the moment.
In four years of knowing the Kanes and experiencing Transformation, I fell in love with my job at the Bank. I started to perform my tasks with a sense of urgency – as if everything mattered – from filing a document, to taking care of the smallest detail for my boss. I didn’t decide to start going full throttle with my life – it just happened. The days of dreading the work-day were over & I enjoyed getting ready to go to work. And POOF! Four years later I flew up the corporate ladder – two promotions! Yes! I am excited to say that as of last Friday I am now an Analyst!It doesn’t make any sense that someone without a banking background and without a degree in business could become an Analyst at a big Corporate Investment Bank! With Transformation anything is possible. Anything - Really! Boom, Boom, Boom – from Secretary – to Loan Service Administrator – to Analyst – in Four Years! It doesn’t make logical sense, but that’s Transformation for you! Magic. Life is truly magical.
We can really have it all. And you know what’s really cool? As I am loving my life in the Corporate World, my music life feels more alive in me than ever before. I am so excited about getting my songs recorded with my fiancé, Jay, (the legendary sound engineer) so we can share them with you.
Thank you, Ariel & Shya. For without knowing you and experiencing the gift of Transformation, I would still be a disgruntled secretary, asleep in my complaints, letting my life pass me by. And thank you everyone, in this amazing global community for your loving friendship.
