The opening of the show and some more
Dearest Friends,
Last Thursday my partner Daniela and I had the opening for our show – presenting our furniture line “Color in Form” for the first time. It was an awesome, beautiful and successful evening.
Here are some highlights from the evening: The mayor of the town spoke at the introduction, the vice president from the board of trade did the Laudatio and our friend, actress Katharina Abt, did a reading about “Art in the Living room”, which is fun piece itself, but turned into a jewel when Katharina performed it. All three where so heartfelt and brilliant , it added extra spice to the event and we felt very honored.
Also we had the most yummy and beautiful food catered by our friend Stephan Monzel; people just loved the food and felt happy and taken care of 
. And a saxophonist played some beautiful background lounge music (thanks Katja for the contact:-)).
We expected about 80 guests and thought that would be wonderful, since it was summer, the baltic sea is around the corner and the weather was just perfect for the beach. It was perfect for us too – we had a 150 guests:-)) 2 People ordered right away and we have a list of people who are interested in receiving more information and some individual solutions. A friend with a home-acessories store with a small selection of furniture is interested in selling our furniture and THE local daily newspaper for Hamburg is running a special on furniture for teens soon and part of the article is about our furniture, including a picture and of course all of our contact info
I’m sitting here, watching some small birds in the garden, wondering how to put in words all the things I want to share with you – my life recently:-) It has been peaceful and fulfilling and efficient with an unknown consistency. A while ago, my husband Rainer and I started having private consulting sessions with Ariel and Shya on a regular basis, about every 2 or 3 weeks, at least once a month, simply to stay in tune, keep in touch, see what comes up. It so supports our life and well being and allows us to see things before they become big – like in sailing, watching the water for the ripples that tell us where the gust of wind are coming, so we see them before they take us by surprise and we can ride with them instead of having them capsize the boat. In one of the sessions, when I started the furniture project, Ariel and Shya told me to go for it, but not get lost in putting all my hopes in it and believe this will rescue me. And for some reason it was like I understood something I heard before, that HERE is the place for satisfaction, happiness and well being. By simply seeing my tendency to “dream” - think something in the future will save me – a lot of things that where challenging before, or were something to get over with, turned into satisfying, fun or just simple moments of my life. Or something to just simply do, like my website: www.stefanielueck-design.de.
I was pondering over my new website for at least six month till it showed up in one of our sessions. It was done within the next month. Over time the whole project turned into this big, complicated thing. I was looking at other websites, comparing everything to anything and it got more and more difficult. This heavy thing, the website I wanted to get done before the opening and which in my head had already twenty pages, instantaneously turned into a simple and fun project when Ariel and Shya told me all I need is something simple, that represents me, my brilliance and professionalism, and that gives me a basis from which I can ad pages, if I want it to get bigger. What happened was that I felt light and happy all of the sudden, what I saw is that I’m enough, all I need to do is be me and do my job. We also talked about the possibility for it to turn back into a challenging project, so I got some support structure which was to call my web company, TAG Online, set a date on which I would send them the Design and keep my word. It worked out beautifully.
