Sharing a Spiritual Day with You
Hi People!
This has been such a spiritual day. I’ve been saying YES to everything, including many incomplete tasks in my apartment, and in my personal life and in my professional life.
This morning my father and his girlfriend Karen visited me to drop off a piece of furniture he wanted to give me. What a blessing my father is! Always giving! Always caring about me. He doesn’t owe me anything, yet he has all this patience and support for me.
We all had breakfast together in Astoria, and I felt closer with both of them than ever before. In the past I’d had realizations about the way I would treat him like I was a kid, not being supportive to him, draining his energy, etc. In the last two years, my relationship with my father has transformed big time, but today was actually a higher level of maturity and cooperation.
It was so nice to be there with my father today, supporting him, and sharing an experience with him. He is such a giving, gentle being. I so respect and look up to how brilliant and giving he is. AND how creative and original he is!
After he left, I completely transformed my entire apartment, until I was walking around in a glowing, magical, silent, colorful home. Cleaned everything, put the air conditioner away, painted a door, washed a stucco ceiling, washed the floors, hung some artwork, changed the messy wiring and cables for my computer and TV (which required a great trip to Radio Shack!).
Just now I completed some creative writing for work that I was sure I wouldn’t be able to complete. It was a challenging few things to write for a large website I’m working on. I am so proud of the quality of what I just turned in.
Thank you Ariel and Shya, for that last weekend workshop, which was one of the most important events of my life. And thank you all for inspiring me so many times to re-motivate myself.
Love,
Gio
