Wow – Transformation
Dear Ariel & Shya,
I will begin with a heartfelt thank you. My weekend experience with the two of you and the wonderful community at the workshop was nothing short of magical.
I have not experienced anything like it in my life. Attending professional conferences can fire one up, but on Monday morning, back to “real” life and the enthusiasm slips away. Not so with your transformational workshop.
Your weekend workshop was indeed transformational. I have had a great week of being in the moment. After the session ended on Sunday, I joined Brian, Uli, Dorothy, Holly and Terry in going to the jazz club – more magic. Terry was briefly discussing the holographic nature of transformation – very cool. I am fascinated by network structures myself and the discussion began with fractals. Rest assured we were in the moment, enjoying the music, food and each other’s company.
When I got home, my wife Nancy was upset, but I truly listened and the upset dissolved. I was not aiming for that outcome – I really wished to listen. I can’t say the gift I bought, as Shya suggested, did not help as well. I can see though, that truly listening is the greatest gift. Simple magic.
On the way home on Monday, waiting in Chicago for my flight home, we were delayed. It was interesting to overhear the complaints and background buzz of grumbling. I had been saying the same things on the way down to New York, just three days before – low level complaining – almost more to make a bond with one’s fellow grumbling travelers, than truly state feelings. Interesting. I was not bothered by the complaints I was hearing around me – just noticing them. Remarkable. Not only that, but I volunteered for a later flight, which ended up being only 30 minutes later to arrive in Winnipeg. The $400.00 in vouchers is obviously a cosmic sign to attend more workshops in New York.
I have to make one final observation. I do not experience déjà vu. I know many people do, but I have never been aware of the feeling. At the workshop, I had overwhelming feelings of having known many of the people before in some way. It was not a spooky feeling, but rather a very comforting feeling. I of course had a familiar feeling around you both, but I expected this, having heard the radio show and videos so often in the past few months. I was surprised and delighted with my connection to the community.
It was a wonderful weekend meeting, and it will certainly not be my last. Thank you again to the both of you. Words cannot express my joy in discovering your writing and your technology. You have opened the door to a world of possibilities – an infinite gift. As I began, I will end – wow.
Kind Regards & All the Best of the Season,
John Campbell
