New Job and Cambridge, UK
Dear friends,
As many of you know, I will leave the army in Germany end of June and had been looking for a new job after the army. And now I got it. I just signed my new work contract. Yeah!!! I start working on July 1st as a logistic consultant for a quite big company in Hamburg and most of my new clients will be in Hamburg, as well. So I also have the chance to stay here in Hamburg. It was so easy to get this job. I had two interviews in the last few weeks and everything was so nice and so in a flow. I had the interviews with the regional director; we both liked each other from the first moment we met and I guess it is really the right company to work for. I especially felt this after the 2nd interview, which I had two weeks after our workshop in Hamburg with Ariel & Shya that was really brilliant. I’m so happy about that and thank you all and especially Ariel and Shya so much for the support you gave me. It is really wonderful to be part of this community.
And there is another thing I have to share with you all. I was in Cambridge, England this week to visit our friends Menna and Artur and it was wonderful. What I experienced was just great. I worked with Artur in his Falafel Van and sold Falafels. We both had so much fun doing this and being there for the people that wanted these great falafels. Just being there was such an experience. And also the International call (it was my first one out of Hamburg) was wonderful. It is such sweet community there. And on the last day something happened that I never believed it could happen for me. We all went to a restaurant owned by Jamie Oliver. He is a great chef and I’m a big fan of his and for years I always wanted to visit one of his restaurants. I didn’t know that there was one in Cambridge until Artur and Menna told me and we just went there. It was really great.
The whole atmosphere in Cambridge is amazing. It is such a lovely place for workshops with Ariel & Shya. And there is a workshop with them in July from 16th to 18th: Money, Success and Happiness: Wealth as a Lifestyle. I really can recommend to everybody to visit this amazing workshop in this great place.
And it is really easy to go to Cambridge. I took a flight from Hamburg to London Luton with Easyjet. It is not expensive (I paid 110 Euros both ways and there is no weight restriction for hand-luggage on Easyjet flights) and I was in London in 90 Minutes. From there you can go with the national express buses (Line 787) in another 90 minutes directly to the center of Cambridge for 15 Pounds. You can buy the tickets on your flight or in the bus (in the bus you need cash). It is really easy and I invite everybody to come to the workshop Money, Success and Happiness: Wealth as a Lifestyle.
