Monday Nov. 14: Transformation hits Hong Kong from Cheryl
Hi everyone!
Just to let you all know that on Monday November 14th, Hong Kong will get its first taste of transformation, with an informal meetup at a local café!
Life has been really exciting, as well easier to deal with any “bumps in the road” since I came back from the October workshop. This normally is a busy period as I run a charity project at work during October and November on top of my usual work. To my surprise, the project plan this year is what I implemented last year, the basis for a city-wide finance industry corporate program – which was really cool!
Having visitors from the transformation community all the way out here is really a treat as well! Earlier in the summer Corrine McCormack stopped by and we had a chance to meet (for the first time!) over dinner. Philine was here and we managed to exchange some lovely emails and I’m sure she’ll be back. This past week and next, Christian is in Hong Kong : enjoying the sights, LOTS of yummy food, packing gift boxes for underprivileged children, and being in awe of the sheer vertical-ness of the city! Today we finished our first amazing, creative collaboration featuring HK-based fashion designers ; )
AND since Christian’s here, we thought it would be a perfect opportunity to host an informal meetup to introduce friends (and anyone they invite) to Transformation and the work by Ariel and Shya! I haven’t had time yet to set up a formal “meetup group” but I’ve invited 15 friends (and still counting!) The fun thing is that many of my friends and my roommate are German so it will be somewhat like an European community out here!

We don’t know who or how many will show up, but it will be perfect for whoever does. And now, at least 15 new people in Hong Kong know more about transformation today as the result of the invitation I sent!
