Hi everyone,

I’ve been on vacation from school for the holidays since before Christmas. And after being “inactive” for so long I started thinking a lot. I kept getting thoughts like “I’m bored.” and “There is nothing to do.” Soon, I started to believe them as if they were true.

So I downloaded one of the radio show episodes from “Being Here” on iTunes. Because I was on my iPhone, I couldn’t read the whole title, I just saw the beginning part which was “I’m hungry….” and I thought, “perfect! Another episode on dieting. That fits me so well”.

When I started listening to the episode, Ariel and Shya repeated the title of the show which was “I’m hungry, and other thoughts that aren’t true.” I laughed because it was exactly the show for me! It was better than a show on dieting because I realized from listening to the show that my thoughts about being bored were not true!

I reccomend the radio show to anyone as an excellent resource for staying centered. I love how accessible it is. You get it on iTunes from your iPod, Mac, PC, iPad, or iPhone. Also you can stream it too from the Kane’s website. Instanteous transformation is really only a few clicks away.

Thank you Ariel & Shya for your perspective on life. Without it, I wouldn’t be the person I am today.

Yesterday at work, I was in the ladies’ room using the facility.  While I was in the stall, I heard a woman sighing over & over again while she was washing her hands.  I thought “that’s a lot of sighing”.  When I exited the stall and went to wash my hands, I asked her how she was doing.  She started to tell me how tired she was and how very busy she is with work, with her family, her five children.  I continued listening as we walked to the kitchen/pantry and by the time we got there we were both engaged in conversation and she even said “but you know, I do love my life”…   It was so much fun to listen to her.   I felt so connected with her and felt like I made a new friend.

My cubicle at work is located right next to the pantry, so as she was pouring herself some coffee, I quickly got her Monday Night Alive & Being Here Radio Show business cards.  I gave them to her and invited her to MNA.  She said, “wow, I could really use this!”.

I was reminded how sharing Transformation enlivens my life!  It feels so good to share it.  I was also reminded what a gift it is to listen.

I was “lacking luster” in my life prior to the last Monday Night Alive.  During the workshop I found my center and I’m feeling passionate about my life again.  I’m so grateful that we have the remarkable Monday evenings in New York with Ariel and Shya and you all.   If I would have been lost in my thoughts yesterday, I may have never heard my new friend sighing in the ladies’ room, and may have missed the opportunity of sharing the possibility of Transformation.
