May we just say Thank You?

Ariel & Shya KaneDearest Friends in the Community,

Thank you for being you, for being part of our community and for your support.  We are back from our writing sabbatical in the Bahamas.  Gotta say it was cold there!  Of course nothing like in New Jersey where we had a big snow storm while we were gone.  But we had white caps on the ocean aplenty.  It was the coldest winter there since 1865.  We lived in polar fleece. :)

Aside from walking for hours on the beach each day – clearing our heads, gathering sea shells, casting at illusive fish, and making audio memos for the new book we are working on, we wrote.  It was interesting, challenging, inspiring, unwieldy and all-in-all we made great progress on our new project.  We also got some much needed rest and more exercise than we have had in a 3 week period in many years (Yippee – firmer thighs, rounder behinds, toned muscles and lost a little weight to boot!)

But, that isn’t really what we want to talk about.  Want to let you know about a funny thing that happened while there:  One day, we were feeling kind of stuck in our writing project, uninspired, blah, sure we had nothing much or nothing new to say, not sure where to go next… You know the feeling and the corresponding thoughts we are sure…

Hello from Zurich, Switzerland!

Dear Ariel, Dear Shya!

It was on a Friday, December 11th 2009 when I missed my train to go home.  Right at the train station there is a bookstore called “Rest seller” and as I had nothing better to do while waiting for my next train to leave I took a stroll through the store and looked through the books in the display.  A small, white book with a few butterflies on the cover caught my attention.  I love everything that has wings…such as fairies, angels etc. and there was something playful and light about this book. But being a person that had lost the interest in getting more spiritual books, I didn’t really wanna buy another book.  Besides that, I didn’t expect this book to tell me something new.  At the same time I liked the idea of getting really cozy on my sofa on a cold winter evening and reading short stories, after all it was not an expensive book, so what did I have to lose?  It was just a book with sweet butterflies.  I decided to get it – having NO idea that this book would be the starting point of true transformation and many blessings to come into my life!

Dear Ariel and dear Shya,

I want to thank you for the amazing and liberating experiences I had in Costa Rica.  That “Pura-Vida-feeling” has been established deep in me and is now always a part of my life, my everyday-being.

Since I’ve been back, I’ve had some unexpected requirements from life, but I can handle – and even enjoy – them all quite cooly ;-)

Both of you, and all the amiable people who were in your course in Costa Rica, showed me that it’s really always enough, just to BE as I am, to listen and simply to do what is needed in the moment…

I’m looking forward to seeing you in April in Hamburg. Wishes to you for discovering and relishing the new wonders of this boundless life!

Sunny greetings from the still gorgeous snow-covered Munich,
Carola

Costa Rica – Transformation – Adventure

Thursday, February 11th, 2010

KatjaHi Friends all over the world,

How are you? 14 days ago I  came back from Costa Rica.

WOW! There’s still this wonderful impact I feel in myself. What do I mean? Well, being in Costa Rica was a unique experience.  Pure self-discovery and adventure.  It was such a gift to discover myself, to discover the beauty of the moment, the wonderful nature, to meet the other participants and to be with them.

Ariel and Shya created a wonderful environment to discover Transformation. They are so wise and I am so thankful for this amazing adventure and happy to be part of this community.

Costa Rica – A New Life!

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

Colleen MessinaHello, dear friends around the world!

Costa Rica was amazing! It was such a treat that I was there for two weeks!  My husband Jay, our friend Susan & I watched some of the video we shot in Costa Rica.  And I was amazed to see myself. I looked calm and comfortable in my skin.

Costa Rica gave me the opportunity to be me. To be me in a place with 50 plus glorious friends in a land of pure beauty. It was magical as we all transformed and relaxed into the moment. The two weeks in Costa Rica gave me the opportunity to relax into myself, as I kept dropping the thoughts that requested I work on myself. The old mechanics didn’t have staying power as I didn’t entertain & indulge in urges of self pity. It was amazing!! And this skill set got easier & easier as each day flew by.

Visible transformation:-)! (Sichtbare Verwandlung:-)

(German translation below)

Dear friends all over the world,

Last night while I was working off my pile of papers to deliver to school before I go to Costa Ricaaaaaaa on Friday:-))))), I suddenly felt the urge to watch the last video-podcasts that I got being a member of the Premium Excellence Club. I had had trouble looking at them directly just clicking on the arrow and procrastinated finding out about the other possibilities for watching them. But there I was, in a wiff I got the solution – on my own – it worked and I could watch these brilliant moments in time!

I had totally forgotten how visible transformation gets on somebody’s face, in somebody’s stature, and even over the camera through the computer I felt as if I was in the room with everybody experiencing life to the fullest.

Make that a part of your life, too! If you ever had the slightest thought like “maybe I’ll join sometime…”: do it now, there’s just not a moment to waste in your life and the lives of everybody around you!

Wow – Transformation

John Campbell

Dear Ariel & Shya,

I will begin with a heartfelt thank you. My weekend experience with the two of you and the wonderful community at the workshop was nothing short of magical.

I have not experienced anything like it in my life. Attending professional conferences can fire one up, but on Monday morning, back to “real” life and the enthusiasm slips away. Not so with your transformational workshop.

Your weekend workshop was indeed transformational. I have had a great week of being in the moment. After the session ended on Sunday, I joined Brian, Uli, Dorothy, Holly and Terry in going to the jazz club – more magic. Terry was briefly discussing the holographic nature of transformation – very cool. I am fascinated by network structures myself and the discussion began with fractals. Rest assured we were in the moment, enjoying the music, food and each other’s company.
