I am discovering transformation in a whole new way since coming back from Costa Rica. I had such a brilliant experience of it this morning that I just have to share: normally in the morning I wake up early to handle some emails, bills, or business before I get ready and go to work. I leave my self an extra half hour but I am still usually rushed or late getting out the door. This morning, I woke up early and easily, but realized that I had completed so many of the things on my list, in the moment they came up, that there was hardly anything to do! I had such an enjoyable morning getting ready at an easy pace and then heading out the door right on time. I have heard Ariel & Shya talk about how when you don’t have incompletions pulling on you, you have more time and more ease and I had always gotten this as a concept, but had never truly *experienced* it until this weekend/morning! Wow- transformation is amazing and such a blessing! And not just because it frees up your own time & self-expression but also because the more you do it, the more you step into your brilliance, the more it creates a very real possibility for others to experience this too. I saw this in action last night:

My husband Andy and I are both actors and we gathered together with some other actors last night to read a play. There was one actor who was very serious, intellectual and quite judgmental- both Andy and I felt these judgments directed at us, but didn’t shrink or get serious. We also didn’t hold it against him, or resist him for being the way he was. I got such enjoyment watching Andy not only give a brilliant performance but also continue engaging with people and being his fun wonderful self. By the end of the night, everyone had come alive and this serious actor fellow had totally dropped his ‘armor’ and was laughing and being silly and engaging with everyone. I could see how much Andy’s way of being gave him permission to express a part of himself he doesn’t let out very often. It was inspiring to see; I felt such a huge love and admiration for my husband and also was (still am) very touched by how being yourself allows others the freedom to discover themselves too. Transformation is such a gift!

So let’s share it! Hi Everyone!

Last night marked a milestone for me and I feel compelled to share!

Last night I was disappointed to miss MNA because lately I’ve felt like humpty dumpty  who fell off the wall but I had class to attend and then found my mom in a tissy about how much she had to do before the holidays. So I sighed and stayed to help. I did everything she asked in the time she needed. Part of me wondered was I once again playing rescuer but my mom has done a lot for me so I felt like helping. I told myself I would do something nice for me afterward.

I didn’t have to because later that evening she asked if I was going to Costa Rica?  I said yes. Then she said ‘maybe at some point I will join you Monday Nite.’ Shocked I  double checked there wasn’t wax in my ear creating hearing impairment. So I said ‘to NY for MNA?’. Sure enough she answered yes. So I managed to keep my jaw closed even though it was really on the floor and said ‘Sure I’ll let you know when I can go up again so you can come too.’

This is a huge milestone for her and I’m really excited for her to experience the group and Ariel and Shya.

Last night all I asked for was to feel whole in the morning. At three in the morning I woke and felt all these bits and pieces of me returning to my core. And for the first time in a long time I feel whole.

Thank you Ariel and Shya though I wasn’t there I felt the experience still permeated through me.

Hey there My Friends,

I’m writing to say I am healthy wealthy happy and living a life like I never could have imagined.  I have been reminded how rich a healthy life is.  I spent some time pretty sick early in the holiday season and got a chance to check out where I wanted to complain and make for drama.  I was able with the help of you all, my fabulous friends and Joe, my amazing husband to keep on track, keep coming back to center.  I thank you for your support through your texts and calls and emails but mostly by being yourselves and living lives that are inspiring.  I am inspired by you, all of you.

And through it all I have found not only that I’m stronger than I thought but also that I can eat nuts! And seeds!  I had been told for the last 8 years or so that I had to avoid them.  But that just wasn’t and isn’t true.  I’ve been freed.  Now, I have no dietary restrictions and testing out my new freedom is enlivening.  I get to see the things that I was happily not eating and the things that I’m thrilled to explore once again and again.

I wish you all Happy Holidays and invite you and your friends to join me and many other New York Transformers at Monday Night Alive, Jan 2 (7pm) and make a special effort to make it to the Money Success and Happiness: Wealth as a Lifestyle workshop with the Kanes on Jan 6th thru the 8th of Jan (at the New Yorker Hotel).  It will be a blast discovering how wealthy we truly are, together!

The “Transformation in the Workplace“ workshop was AMAZING this weekend!!!!  WOW!  Wow!  Wow! And did I say wow!  Work has been flowing easy today and our staff (even the people that did not attend the workshop) feels in sync.  Even our family is “in sync”.  My husband (Andy) and I came home last night from the course and our older son, Alex, had worked on a project for school (he is in 4th grade) and he put that Andy was his “Hero”.  It was so sweet.

A few hours ago, a recruiter called me to see if she could help me with any of our staffing needs.  Her name is Jessica.  At first, I thought: I don’t have time to speak with her & who is this person?  But I chatted with her for a few minutes and realized there may be ways she can help our company.  Then, I found out she works in Manhattan so I invited her to Monday Night Alive! tonight – and she said yes, and while I was on the phone with her she Googled Monday Night Alive and said she was going to register right when we got off the phone…and she did!  Neato!

I am truly excited about the next workshop: The Art of Listening because listening is the key to transformation….just simply listening to another person and being with that person.  It magically works.

If you are thinking of coming to the next course, just do it!  I don’t have to tell you – I am sure you already know….that it starts when you register! : )

Want to tell you a cool story! We have a client who has been with us since 2005.  We designed and programmed his website and he has recently done some enhancements on his site.

Last week I asked him if he would like to come to Monday Night Alive and after asking him, my colleague reminded me that I had asked him to come a few years ago and he had said no.  Since I had forgotten, I just asked him again except this time, he said yes!  The cool part is that I may not have asked him again if I had remembered he had said no previously.  It just goes to show you people change over time and become more open.  And sometimes, asking again is all you need for them to say yes.

He is coming tonight to the Monday Night Alive!  And both Andy and I have never physically met him in person!

We are also driving in a woman who we met over lunch while Ariel and Shya were consulting at our office this past Thursday.  Shya struck up a conversation with her in the parking lot since she had the same car as the Kanes.  And she will be at the Monday Night Alive tonight as well!

Ariel & Shya advertise in this magazine and asked me to write an article in the June issue!  I wrote it the weekend of the last course, Transformational Time and Project Management. When I sat down and saw all the things I wanted to say, it was so easy – and really fun – to write (much easier than I had thought it would be).

The article is about my experience of taking Ariel & Shya’s workshops and the wonderful results I’ve experienced (and continue to experience) in my life.

I just had the most amazing moment!  For the past 3 years I have had a digital camera that I don’t use.  Oh, I have stories why I don’t use it….too busy to learn; too complicated to understand, etc.  The latest reason is that I couldn’t find the battery charger.  I thought my son Adam had it, but he said he didn’t.  So for at least 2 years, I haven’t used this camera.

Finally, I bought a new charger today. That was right before I participated in a pre recording with Ariel and Shya for their internet show, Being Here.  During this show, I was able to see something about myself that I had not seen before.  I really feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulder!  I feel  brighter and more myself.

After the call, I went into my desk drawer to find a pen.  I use this drawer every day and often 2 or 3 times a day. But today, I saw my original camera charger….it was just sitting there!  It has been there for the past 2 years and I never saw it!  So amazing!  I can really see clearly.

It could be a coincidence that I just saw the charger, but it is inspiring me to keep looking!  I also see the “tendency” to want to blame someone else when something doesn’t go my  way!  Or when I lose something!  Wow!  That is transformation!

Share this amazing gift with everyone!  Last night I invited 2 people from my building to come to Monday Night Alive. I see them all the time too, but last night I invited them!  Go ahead, invite others, it’s so worth while!
