The yummy taste of an apple, from Karin in Cologne, Germany

Monday, July 19th, 2010

Karin RademacherDear friends around the world,

I’m wonderfully busy these weeks, with a lot of work and unexpected things coming in and up (I’m freelancing). This afternoon I realized that I was completely rushing through my day, trying to get things done.

I stopped the action and watched this week’s Premium Excellence Club mini video session: It’s about being where you are –  tailor-made for me :)

When I finished the video I was relaxed and… feeling hungry. Instead of eating while working I sat down and ate an apple, I think I never had such a delicious apple…

Transformation is a wonderful gift! Thank you all!

Much love,
Karin

Cleaning house! from Madhu in Queens, New York

Monday, June 21st, 2010

Dear Transformation Community,

madhu-blogA couple of weeks ago, I was in the Key Food grocery store by my house and as I was leaving, I noticed on the bulletin board a dazzling ad that caught my eye. It was for a housecleaning service. It said, “I will make your place sparkle!” with a very nice font.  Below is the ad for you to take a look at.

The funny thing is that for quite some time now, I’ve been thinking about getting my place cleaned by someone. I’ve been resisting cleaning my place myself and I just thought it would be easier to pay someone to do it. But I resisted even doing that with thoughts of “Why should I pay someone else? it’s my place. It’s not that big. I should be able to do it myself,” etc. Anyway, the one thing I couldn’t resist was this ad. It was like it was meant for me! So I called the lady Nancy and she came over and she cleaned like a demon. She did a great job and she was very professional. (more…)

Staying in the Moment Game

Tuesday, May 25th, 2010

Evelyne Romang

Lately, I found it challenging to stay in the moment. There is a lot of chatter going on in my mind and my breath is shallow.  On one of this “lost in thoughts days”, it was while walking to my work place, I came up with a game (out of the blue) that I started to play immediately!

This game helps me to come back to real time in such a playful, simple and amazing way, that I want to share it today. Maybe someone wants to check it out for themselves (-;
So here is how it works:

It’s A Wonderful Life

Monday, April 19th, 2010

My Dear Friends,

susanfinchI’ve had an amazing day.  Everyone is fine, but there was a major fire in my apt. building this morning.  Thankfully no one was injured.  I was downtown at a BNI  (networking) group meeting and at 10am I got an hysterical call from my neighbor saying that our building was on fire.  She was calling from the fire escape.  I asked if she’d been able to check on my dogs and cats since she has keys to my place, but she couldn’t get to them to find out.  So I had this spit second thought, “Is this where I get hysterical and faint?” or do I notice the truth…that I feel centered and focused?  I went with the latter, got in a cab and was home in no time.  That is NOT not the way I used to react in stressful situations.  I’ve been known to be quite the drama queen about smaller events in the past.  But I was alert, effective and did what needed to be done.   And, I didn’t say to myself “Alright…BE CALM”… I  just was.  That is miraculous.  That ole’ Transformation just snuck right up on me.  What a gift!

Costa Rica – A New Life!

Wednesday, February 10th, 2010

Colleen MessinaHello, dear friends around the world!

Costa Rica was amazing! It was such a treat that I was there for two weeks!  My husband Jay, our friend Susan & I watched some of the video we shot in Costa Rica.  And I was amazed to see myself. I looked calm and comfortable in my skin.

Costa Rica gave me the opportunity to be me. To be me in a place with 50 plus glorious friends in a land of pure beauty. It was magical as we all transformed and relaxed into the moment. The two weeks in Costa Rica gave me the opportunity to relax into myself, as I kept dropping the thoughts that requested I work on myself. The old mechanics didn’t have staying power as I didn’t entertain & indulge in urges of self pity. It was amazing!! And this skill set got easier & easier as each day flew by.

Having Success in Your Career and Your Life

Saturday, November 14th, 2009

Colleen MessinaI love going to work. For someone who used to think I should have been a rock star, it amazes me how much I love being a Loan Service Officer at an Investment Bank!

I used to be in a pop/rock band for 6 1/2 years. During this time, I was the Receptionist at the Bank. At my first year review, my boss asked what I thought of my career path. I answered, “I’m not interested in climbing the corporate ladder because my band is going to be discovered”. For the next 8 years, there I stayed in my administration assistant position, treating it like a “day job,” waiting for my life to begin.
